INDIAN FRANKINCENSE – BOSWELLIA SERRATA aka Olibanum (that which results from milking)
Frankincense consists mainly of resins, essential and volatile oils and gums. Boswellia acids makes up terpenes producing anti -inflammatory properties, antioxidant, antifungal, antiseptic, antiviral, anti-rheumatic, deodorant, sedative, etc.

Frankincense oil taste is very bitter leaving its wonderful aroma in your nostrils. Possible ways to use this oil is as follows. Mix ½ teaspoon with ½ teaspoon of honey. You can add 1 to 2 drops in your coffee and tea. Massage your ear lobes, the palms of your hands and your fingertips stimulating your senses. Rub the oil on your gums for toothaches and gum sores or for toothaches and gum disease add 5 drops of oil in a glass of water and stir well. Rinse mouth 1 mouthful at a time and spit it out in the sink before taking another mouthful. Take twice daily. DO NOT SWALLOW. Mix with 100% shea butter to moisturize the face and body.
